A Sapphire client in is looking for a consultant for a project. 

 

The position is described as follows:




 

Project's goal is to migrate a 30-year old Clearpath, COBOL and ALGOL based applications to a new Open Systems, JAVA/J2EE, Websphere, MQSeries, Oracle based platform. The contract is for a fixed-priced to deliver a system which duplicates the functionality of the existing mainframe applications. No new functionality is required, only existing functionality will be ported. The effort covers 187 applications (48 ALGOL and 139 COBOL) with approximately 600K lines of code.



 




-Writing and running test scripts-Experience with Mercury testing tools-Support client acceptance testing and mentoring of client staff-J2EE functional testing
