Computer Technology Solutions, Inc. (CTS, Inc.) is seeking Quality Assurance Developers for our Birmingham and Mobile Offices. This position is a key role in our organization.

Quality Assurance Engineer

QA Engineers ensure that client quality expectations are satisfied by performing manual, automated, and performance testing on client applications in accordance with CTS quality assurance methodologies.
* Work directly with appropriate client and CTS personnel to understand project concept, objectives and approach of software development projects
* Perform all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load and system testing, taking part in every phase of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
* Prepare system test plans
* Ensure that all test items follow established change management processes and are tested and tracked using the provided test management software.

General Qualifications:
* BS in Computer Science, MIS or directly related degree required
* 2+ years of quality assurance experience
* Familiarity with all aspects of testing including functional, regression, load and system testing
* Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
* Ability to prepare systems test plans is highly desired
* Expertise in current testing tools such as HP Quality Center and Compuware preferred
* Clear use of the English language in written and oral communications

Technical Qualifications:
* HP Quality Center preferred
* HP Load Runner a plus
* Compuware QA Load a plus
