Desired Skills:

• Strong database experience, especially around scaling applications.


• Understanding of the various aspects involved in running a large-scale web site.


• Experience with:


• Caching architecture.


• Large-scale data migrations.


• Front- and back-end site performance.


• Image storage.


• Monitoring tool.


• Development environments.


• Code deployment tools.


• PHP, Java, Python, Ruby, Solr/Lucene, Postgres, MySQL, etc..
