Duties include:
Responsible for implementing concurrent instances of Oracle EBS 12, Fusion Middleware, and Oracle database 10g.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Create high availability environment using Oracle Real Application Clustering, Data Guard, 10g Grid, RMAN, Flashback Query, ASM, OEM, Diagnostics, Tuning, Configuration, and Provisioning Pack. 2.Analyze and implement the physical database design and structure, ensure enterprise database environments are in optimal condition, manage production databases in Client environments, and support complex problem-solving challenges. 3.Create and review physical data models, coordinating data security and actively support test plans/environments, benchmarks, and statistics. 4.Manage the production databases in Client environments. Ensure the recoverability of all production data for operational and business continuation needs. 5.Assist in the resolution of complex problems in support of production; including on call support. 6.Provide performance and tuning. Improve the quality and reduce defects in all database environments. 7.Create, develop, and review the physical data model created from the logical data model. Create and implement the physical database design and structures. 8.Ensure that the detailed physical design of data structures and databases comply with data policies, standards, principles and meets the established level of service goals for the system. 9.Actively participate in supporting test plans, test environments, benchmarks and statistics. 10.Coordinate with data security to provide appropriate security and secondary authorization. 11.Assist with the development of the technical architectures. Ensure the database management systems and tools support the defined architectures and business needs. 12.Participate in the testing, evaluation, implementation, and training of DBMS and related software products. 13.Plan, coordinate, and implement projects or products as required; on-time, within budget, and with quality. 14.Communicate clearly with local and remote users. 15.Maintain solid technical skills in DBMSs, products, utilities, protocols, and techniques. 16.Manage and monitor SLAs for uptime and performance of Oracle Databases. 17.Additional duties and responsibilities as requested by the Manager of Technology and Enterprise Architecture.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Essential Qualifications and Skills: *Bachelor degree in a business related field. *Strong management and coordination skills. *Proven experience in complex ERP environment. *Excellent Oracle technical experience. Oracle EBS 11i/12 implementation experience.
