Executes the day-to-day administration of Oracle database environments; interacts with various technology teams regarding work requests submitted; participates in the creation of new policies, procedures, projects and processes. Provides on call 24*7 emergency off-hours support of critical systems for database problem resolution and recovery, as well as production applications
• Participates in all aspects of the lifecycle for database environments- Provides technical support of database environments/applications, including software installation, database creation, upgrades, patches, problem diagnosis, performance monitoring, database maintenance, process automation, evaluation, and tuning recommendations, develops, implements and support backup/restore, disaster recovery and data replication procedures and exercises
• Participates in the implementation of application requested database code and configuration changes in supported Oracle database environments
