Our client wants you to be a part of their technology transformation! They are looking for a senior, very driven Systems & Network Management Expert to help drive innovation.

Requirements:

End to End Monitoring Experience
Superior Skills in Design, Development, and Deployment.
Thorough understanding for how monitoring tools are used across ALL groups within an I.T. organization.
Position requirements include the ability to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of and hands-on experience in the following areas:
- Minimum five (5) years of work experience with Systems& Network Management in a global production environment
- Deep working knowledge of SNMP (simple network monitoring protocol)
- Network & Systems Management tools such as EMC Smarts, HP Openview, IBM Netcool, Microsoft Operations Manager, BMC Patrol, Unicenter, CA eHealth, CA Spectrum, Packeteer, NetQoS, Netcool Opsware , CiscoWorks and Opnet.
- LAN/WAN Technologies (Advanced level)
- Networking Experience - TCP/IP, Database Connectivity (JDBC, ODBC, etc.)
- Advanced level knowledge of Systems Management best practices including SNMP, SYSLOG
- SQL database experience (a bonus) including building SQL queries, Stored Procedures.

Desired Skills:
- Experience with BMC Remedy, Quest Big Brother or AlarmPoint
- Unix/Linux Shell, Perl, VB and/or other scripting experience a bonus
- Professional Certification (a plus)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related work experience (preferred)
