We are currently seeking an SAP Implementation Project Manager for a long term contract to lead an North American SAP Implementation. Our client is located in Northeastern Ohio, near Cleveland.
This is a long term contract. Permanent hire may be an option for a local candidate.
We are seeking an SAP Project Manager to help lead a global SAP implementation. You will lead teams consisting of the client's key stakeholders and subject matter experts (SME's) from both here in North America and in Europe.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and monitor projects from initiation through delivery.
Keep technical projects on schedule and within budget.
Drive projects to completion according to corporate plan.
Analyze existing business processes working with the business units to identify best practices.
Address/resolve system functionality support issues via configuration, SAP note application, or recommendation for development.
Candidates MUST have experience managing large scale SAP projects for roll out to multiple locations, in a manufacturing and distribution environment. You must also be able to manage costs and schedules of an SAP project.
Requirements:
8+ years business experience
5+ years experience in a Manager or Project Manager role
2 or more full SAP implementations
Must have extensive configuration experience
Ability to multitask as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, functional area SME, and SAP configuration as needed.
Experience developing, implementing, and executing training for new functionality and processes.
Experience with the following modules: FI, CO, PP, MM, LE, WM, SD & EDI (SAP XI/PI).
Willing to travel in North America (Ohio, Texas, Ontario). Some international travel (Europe) may be required.
Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
SAP training preferred.
