Responsibilities:
Required Experience and Skills :
Scope:
- Estimate, design, code and unit test to support the implementation of new insurance products or enhancements to existing insurance products.
- Work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to find the best solutions to implement new products in INGENIUM.
- Analyze product specifications and provide solutions to implement new products in INGENIUM
- Work with business analysts to ensure the quality of Functional specifications.
- Complete established Client documentation and artifacts related to the task
- Conduct design, code and unit test reviews to ensure quality deliverables.
Required Experience and Skills :
- 7+ years of experience in INGENIUM systems analysis and programming with deep knowledge of core INGENIUM functionality
- Working knowledge of mainframe COBOL, DB2/SQL, TSO, development tools (ex: vSLICK, File Manager, debugger), source management tools (ex: PVCS), Job Control Language
- Good analytical skills with the ability to work independently or part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
Scope:
- Senior professional role
- Develops technical solutions requiring analysis and research
- Works on small to large projects that require deep knowledge of INGENIUM
- Works on one or more projects as a team member or tech lead
- Will be required to provide off-hours on-call support
