Financial Systems Specialist
We are looking for an experienced Information Technology professional to join our Finance team in Daytona Beach, FL office in the position of Financial Systems Specialist.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Ensure stable day-to-day operation of accounting systems.
Support and maintain Great Plains software and other related third party software for the Company.
Troubleshoot Great Plains and Troubleshoot Image Now application errors as well as end user technical support.
Work with business unit and assist with creating and modifying system reports as needed.
Utilize Great Plains Integration Manager or third party tools to improve business processes.
Create sequel (SQL) queries against the Great Plains data for business analysis.
Administer user security in accordance with accounting responsibilities.
Ensures processes and controls are in place per company policy and are adhered to.
Ensures processes controls that are effective and operating as prescribed to ensure the security of all corporate data.
Work with Finance team to utilize third party tools to improve business processes.
Perform year end functions related to technical or system requirements.
Focus on innovation and improvements to streamline business and financial processes.
Approximate travel 10%.
Qualifications include the following:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years related experience and/or training in information technology, pc tech or service desk support; must be able to handle high volume and manage multiple tasks; have a can do attitude and work ethic; superb written and oral communication skills; excellent organization and time management; must have strong technical skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with Microsoft Great Plains products (FRx, XL Reporter) in an administrative or development role a plus, but not required.
