Location: Santa Clara, CA (looking for locals)

Description:


* Expert Senior Oracle DB architect needed to quickly provide assessment, review and consulting to team working to aggressively tune and load from flat file storage on NetApp to Oracle data store and decision support db.

* Deep DB architect experience in designing both OLTP and OLAP schemas and storage layout for Oracle 9i and 10G databases.

* Excellent knowledge of query optimization techniques like plans, hints, indexes, partitions etc.

* Well versed in advanced DB performance tuning tools such as stats-pack for 9i and AWR reports for 10G.

* Excellent knowledge of query optimization techniques like plans, hints, indexes, partitions etc.

* Excellent hands-on knowledge of PL/SQL

* ETL experience


Programming experience with .NET
