DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong litigation support technical skills including Westlaw and Lexis, Electronic Case Filing, San-It, I-Pro, Case Map and Sanctions
REQUIREMENTS:
Requires at least two years of litigation Paralegal experience, preferably with strong trial experience. Must have at least one year of experience in automated litigation Support. Knowledge of Westlaw and Lexis, Electronic Case Filing (ECF), Scan-It for document scanning, I-Pro to redact documents, and Case Map to summarize the documents in a database to allow for easy retrieval and organization, and Sanctions for displaying the documents at trial. This includes knowledge of automated legal research tools and litigative support technology such as digital imaging applications, graphic design software, audio visual equipment and trial presentation programs. Knowledge of laws, precedent decisions, and judicial or administrative proceedings. Knowledge of legal research and analysis sufficient to perform assigned case development.
Knowledge of legal reference materials and ability to perform legal research sufficient to compose legal documents and correspondence, verify citations, and statutory references, search for, analyze for legal relevance and summarize data, draw conclusions, and recommend appropriate action. Knowledge of technical concepts related to complex areas of litigation, and knowledge of the capabilities and use of automated resources and technology for development and presentation of these civil/criminal actions.
Must be able to obtain DOJ NACI Clearance.
