Seeking individual with significant experience as an Enterprise Program Manager.
Goal is to consolidate multiple outdated Human Resource, procurement and financial business system into one efficient transparent and modern enterprise-wide system.
The Program Manager role is to oversee multiple concurrent IT projects, project managers and teams, coordinate the relationship between the various projects and develop and manage the overall program implementation.
Extensive program management experience is required.
Highlight experience managing high risk - high visibility programs with broad impact, involving multiple, concurrent initiatives across a large organization.
Experience with the development of financial, procurement, HR/payroll and budget systems is desired.
Client has custom applications in these functional areas using web (Java, VB, xml and web services) and mainframe (COBOL , DB2 and IMS) technologies. Experience in these technical areas, while not required, may be helpful.
Candidates must have superior communication and organizational skills.
Program Management tasks:
Perform as the IT Program Manager.
This involves coordinating all work done within the Information Technology Services supporting the Department’s implementation.
Meet (weekly) with Executive leadership, reporting progress, issues, needs, risks, etc related to the program implementation.
Meet with executive stakeholders, prepare presentations and deliver communications materials.
Work with management and staff to define program and project scope, goals and objectives.
Define, develop and initiate an overall program plan for the integration of system functionality into business systems and updating and integrating business application systems as planned.
Manage the program and consolidate individual project activities into an overall program management plan.
Collaborate with business unit and IT staff on all aspects of the program.
Identify and manage program business requirements.
Develop program and project management artifacts including program and project plans, issue logs, risk and communication plans and an overall program schedule in accordance with IT program management requirements.
Actively manage the program plan and schedule and update as required.
Enterprise Program Management - 5 years of experience
Enterprise Project Management - 10 years
Experience assembling and managing large teams - 10 yrs.
Management of large projects - 10 yrs.
