- Design and develop bullet proof code that's highly scalable that exceeds performance expectations
- Liaise with colleagues and other functional areas such as product management, quality assurance and operations to achieve mutually agreed upon goals
- Design complex data models that are not only practical but performance minded
- Implement back-end functionality for a multi-tiered service oriented architecture
- Implement sophisticated browser add-ons and integrate services that interface with other web base applications
Requirements:
- Demonstrated success developing C++ / Java code in an object oriented framework
- Knowledge of AJAX, Javascript and DHTML
- Prior experience developing APIs
- Bonus Points:
- Proved experience developing in a LAMP based architecture
- Experience with the *Three Ps* - PHP, Perl or Python
- Experience developing web based applications for the advertising or e- commerce space
- Advanced degree from a top school
