Looking for Senior/Lead Java Developer to join our team of professionals. This full-time position will play a key role in the development and implementation of commercial grade web-based software while using *best practices* standards. A candidate must have a high degree of professionalism, reliability, and maturity. This position requires solid skills in a breadth of internet technologies, web-based applications and server-side development. A candidate must be able to work efficiently and independently. In addition the candidate must act as a resource and a mentor to other technical staff.

Qualifications

Senior/Lead Developer must have at least 8 years continuous Java and database development experience on client applications, server applications and relational databases.

* Extensive knowledge of Java, required.
* Extensive knowledge of relational database technologies with advance capabilities in at least one industry grade relational database system (Oracle), required.
* Expertise implementing solutions on J2EE application servers like JBoss, required.
* Extensive experience with J2EE, Eclipse, Springs, Struts, Hibernate, JSF and JMS systems, required.
* Knowledge and experience with Open Source technologies and frameworks.
* Strong object-oriented analysis and design skills.
* Ability to take ownership and responsibility for developing clean, bug-free, understandable code.
* Ability to test (unit, volume, integration, and regression), and debug web-base applications and systems.
* Ability to research and explain problems in code, and to design and implement fixes.
* High energy self starter with a positive attitude and excellent people skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communications skills, required.
* Strong writing and documentation skills.
* Knowledge of commercial real estate budgeting and forecasting is a plus.
