Job Description
- Senior Image Engineer (Part Time)
Serves as the technical/engineering expert for imaging technology operations and capture. May load and unload scan items (up to 50lbs per item), operate, and maintain imaging technology and store, manipulate, process for mass dissemination (i.e. convert machine version to popular format - .jpeg or .bmp), test and catalog corresponding system images. Able to operate in Unix, Linux, dos, or windows operating environment.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
B.S. degree in related discipline, 4 years experience shall substitute for BS. Five years experience with imaging technology and maintenance of aviation security equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred experience with Rapiscan 3D20, Rapiscan 500 series, Smiths-Heimann 6040 aTix series, L3 6000, and GE CTX 5500, 9000, 9400, 9800 series. Fully competent to manage file structures, create, and maintain command files in XML or other proprietary formats used within the TSE.
