• Cyber Software Engineer 2 Java

Northrop Grumman Information Systems is seeking a Cyber Software Engineer 2. This position is located in Landover, MD. Some of the responsibilities and duties:

* Designs, develops, tests and debugs database and application software and systems

* Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; utility programs, and operating systems

* Perform corrective, adaptive, and software maintenance on the software baseline

* Prepare and maintain software documentation

* Provide day-to-day software support to integration and test, and field support activities

* Ensures software standards are met

* Administer Sybase relational databases, optimizing database performance, redesigning database structures and/or loading/reloading data into the database, and developing relational database software using SQL.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Math with 2 years of work experience, or 0 years Masters degree

* Must have an active TS/SCI with poly clearance

* Programming experience in C/C++, Objective C, shell, or Java

* Experience with application development for Apple OSX platform

* Experience with Solaris UNIX systems

* Experience with database replication

* Experience with web applications and document management systems
