  • Systems Engineer - Information Assurance 5


Northrop Grumman is seeking an Information Assurance Systems Engineer. Candidate will be part of an IA team responsible for security engineering and Certification and Accreditation of Multi-Security Level Systems. Candidate should be familiar with multiple C&A Processes to include: DITSCAP/DIACAP, DoDI 8500.2, and DoDIIS C&A Guide. Familiarity with IATF, DCID 6/3 and JDSCISS is also essential. Strong oral and written communication skills are required as candidate will be drafting SSAA documentation and security certification procedures, as well as presenting information to management and customers. Candidate will perform vulnerability assessments and produce risk mitigation plans. The candidate should be familiar with multiple operating systems to include Solaris, Linux, and Windows. Candidate should be experienced in utilizing STIG and SNAC Guides to provide security. Individual needs to be self-motivated, but able to work as part of a team and present the program/company in a positive way to the customer and during other government interaction. Must have ability to work on multiple simultaneous tasks.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree- At least 12 years general technical experience with systems engineering knowledge of military systems; 10 years with a Master's- At least 5 years experience as IPT, team, or project leader- Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain higher clearances involving polygraph- Ability to travel occasionally CONUS and OCONUS

Preferred Qualifications:

- Advanced degrees in engineering, software, science, or business -Substantial Information Assurance experience- CISSP certification- Experience with program management and/or business development- Active Secret/SAP/SAR, Top Secret, and/or SCI/SSBI clearances- Participation in conferences, symposia, and Government policy-setting activities- Published papers and inventions- Demonstrably good writing skills; ability to write final-version deliverable technical documents and reports
