• Database Engineer 4 - DK

Come join the winning team at Northrop Grumman Information Systems. We currently have an opening for a Database Administrator/Engineer where potential candidates must have experience in designing, implementing and maintaining enterprise databases.

Duties include:

implementing and maintaining smooth operation and physical design of databases; conducting performance tuning of indexes and databases in general; reviewing database design and integration of systems; providing backup recovery and making recommendations regarding enhancements and/or improvements; maintaining security and integrity controls; formulating policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management; monitoring transaction activity and utilization; and developing stored procedures and/or triggers.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or related field. 10+ years experience. Must have minimum of 2+ years of actual SQL programming experience (Oracle preferred) and 3+ years of database design. Also requires experience with Oracle data partitioning and Oracle query tuning on large databases. Must be a U.S. citizen and have an active and current TS/SCI security clearance with a polygraph.
