Job Description
Pyramid Solutions is looking for Software and Systems Engineers to join our organization to provide best-in-class technology services to our customers. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in design, documentation, implementation, and testing. The ideal candidate will have strong Microsoft/Windows software development experience including applications, software component architectures, Windows CE, Active-X components and device drivers. Knowledge of manufacturing automation is a plus.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for design, development, testing, delivery, and support of software
* Adheres to program development and documentation standards
* Participates in design and code reviews
* Develops documentation including functional and design documents, test plans, and user manuals
* Interacts with customers providing technical assistance, architectural guidance, and training
* Can work independently or in a team setting
* Willingness to work on product and or customer specific projects
* Has a working knowledge of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
* Has spent time and is comfortable working on a manufacturing plant floor
Technical Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience in Windows, embedded, VB, C++, C#, STL, HTML, ASP, .NET and SQL
* Demonstrated experience in Object-oriented design as well as Real-Time OS
* Demonstrated experience in developing device drivers and or interfacing to external hardware
* Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
* Excellent verbal/written communications skills and customer skills
* Professional, accountable, reliable, driven, team player
* Attention to detail, quality and the customer
* 5+ Years of work experience developing or implementing software solutions
Education and Certifications
* 4 year degree, preferred in Computer Science or related engineering field
* Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) preferred
Miscellaneous
* Willingness to provide on-call support coverage
* Willingness to perform off shift and weekend work
* Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
* Willingness to submit to background check and drug screen
