SRC is searching for a Senior Electronic Warfare (EW) Engineer to provide engineering technical support to 1st Information Operations (IO) Command * Army Reprogramming Analysis Team * Threat Analysis (ARAT-TA), located at Eglin AFB, Fl.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to * Provide technical support to the 1st Information Operations Command Army Reprogramming Analysis Team Threat Analysis (ARAT-TA)
* Provide timely and effective engineering-level radar and weapon system threat analysis and geo-tailored mission data set (MDS) development for U.S. Army Aviation aircraft survivability equipment (ASE) and other special-purpose target sensing systems (TSS)
* Develop and optimize electronic attack (EA)/electronic protect (EP) techniques and procedures for RF based target sensing systems (TSS)
* Monitor laboratory hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) Mission Data Set (MDS) testing to insure proper threat identification and ambiguity resolution
* Provide field users with technical assistance and training materials
* Provide ASE/TSS MDS hardware and software training to tactical users
Requirements* Bachelor*s degree in electrical engineering, mathematics, physics or other engineering discipline
* Five to 10 years experience with radio frequency (RF) radar systems with solid understanding of basic RF signal propagation effects
* Minimum of three to five years experience directly associated with radar and weapon system analysis; RF Threat Simulator programming a plus
* A minimum of two years experience using or producing Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming (EWIR) database
* Experience with computer languages and software used for scientific analysis and documentation
* Ability to work on a team with other engineers with various levels of experience and technical skills and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing and travel to other government facilities (CONUS/OCONUS)
Security Clearance RequirementsAn active Top Secret/SCI security clearance and current investigation are required.
