Senior Java Engineer

Scope
Design and develop Bluetooth-enabled applications in a dynamic, growing organization. The targeted platforms include Android and Blackberry smartphones and JavaME devices.

Requirements
o BS in Computer Science or Equivalent
o At least 7 years experience with a background in Java
o Understand full SDLC and be able to perform different roles in different development phases
o Able to convert business requirements into solid software designs
o Must be detailed oriented
o Must be a US Citizen or must have proper documentation to work in US.

Preferred Qualifications - experience in any of the following areas:
o Experience developing mobile applications for Android and/or Blackberry devices
o Experience in device porting
o Good understanding in OO technologies, design pattern and best practices
o Subversion, CVS or any version control tool/process
o Comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment. Willing to work off hours to accommodate tight timelines and customer requirements.
