Position Description:

The Network Engineer engineers network solutions to enhance the capabilities of the Reynolds and Reynolds datacenter and hosted products and services. The Network Engineer will apply his/her expertise toward implementing solutions for datacenter and customer networks while supporting network-related technology. The Reynolds and Reynolds datacenter network environment hosts a heterogeneous mix of computing hardware and software platforms. The Network Engineer will be responsible for network routers, switches, and firewalls as well as understanding network related services, monitoring, and configuration management. The engineer must have knowledge of the OSI model and TCP/IP.

Requirements:

-At least 2 years direct TCP/IP network engineering experience
-Knowledge of Cisco routers and switches
-Knowledge of firewalls
-Knowledge of routing protocols: BGP, EIGRP, and MPLS
-Knowledge of WAN protocols: SONET, ATM, STP (Spanning Tree Protocol), VTP (VLAN Trunk Protocol), and CDP
-Knowledge of VPN and IPSec
-Knowledge of SNMP
