This technology company is a leader in the electronic payment cards industry and offers end to end (POS to processor) secure electronic payment solutions for large retailers, processors and banks. Given the global crises related to security breaches of card-holder information this is a rapidly growing market. Economic viability exists due to the mounting costs associated with security breaches and fraudulent use of credit card-holder information.

The primary function of this role is to educate partners and customers in the use of this company*s technology and its electronic payment fraud mitigation services. Since credit card fraud mitigation products are sold through payment processors* sales organizations as a channel, comprehensive education of their sales force will be a key ingredient to success of the fee-per-transaction business.

Role and Responsibilities:

* Develop detailed technical understanding of the security and fraud mitigation products and services.
* Take existing documentation, information for various current team members, aggregate and build a working curriculum for delivery to partner and customer organizations.

* Develop training programs appropriately suited for customer audiences (sales teams, IT teams, operations, etc).

* Develop ongoing training schedules for onsite training deliveries (in San Diego) and potentially offsite at customer locations and / or through webinars or other online formats.

Qualifications:

* BA/BS or higher is required * preferably in a technical field.

* 6+ years of technology training experience including development of curricula and programs from scratch.
* Direct experience with delivering technical training to a variety of audiences.

* Direct experience within electronic payment systems.

* Preferred domain knowledge and / or experience within electronic payments, banking, credit card processing, e-commerce or related.

Required Skills

* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.

* Understanding of both Wintel and Unix computing platforms.

* Detail oriented and deadline driven, with the ability to lead diverse teams through training programs.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with outstanding organizational and follow-up skills.

* Strong analytical skills with experience processing, analyzing and summarizing data.

* Energetic, team-oriented, positive person who desires to work in the fast-paced startup environment.
