This is an estimated 2-month contract position, through Volt Workforce Solutions. Volt is a world leader in the staffing industry, boasting over 50 years of experience. The primary responsibilities for this position are to support the manufacturing operations at a large manufacturing facility. This will include being able to troubleshoot and support equipment such as: * Robots (ABB, Fanuc and Panasonic) used for welding and paint application. * Roll forming equipment (Roundo) * Laser cutting equipment (Bystronic and Cincinnati) * NC punch press equipment (Murata and Trumpf) * Variable Frequency Drives used for motion and hoisting (Allen-Bradley and Electromotive) * Safety devices including scanners and safety mats (Sick, STI, & Banner) * GUI (Graphical User Interface) set-up * PLC Logic for a variety of control systems (Primarily Rockwell family of software) * OPE software connectivity (Parsec) * Balancing Equipment (Hoffman) * Spot Welding Equipment (Banner & Medar)
Requirements:
Required Skills, Knowledge, & Relevant Work Experience:
-PLC programming and troubleshooting ability
-Robot troubleshooting and electrical knowledge
-General industrial control schemes and troubleshooting techniques
Desired skills, knowledge, & relevant Work Experience:
-Laser experience/knowledge
-VFD experience/knowledge
-Safety devices experience/knowledge
-NC Punch Press experience/knowledge
-NEC (National Electric Code) knowledge
-NFPA70E knowledge
-Ability to work in a team environment.
