Continental Resources, Inc. is the nationwide source for systems and network integration, network design and support, on site remote services, multi vendor solutions, hardware, installation consulting and life cycle services. We currently have a need for an experienced Hitachi Business Development Associate for our Bedford, MA branch.
The primary focus of this individual is to drive sales of Hitachi products. In this role, you would work closely with senior level management, including the President and Vice President of our Systems and Network Integration Division to establish and execute business plans, objectives and marketing goals for specific Hitachi products. This person would work closely with our sales and marketing team reviewing product demonstrations and coordinating marketing initiatives. Must maintain a high degree of product knowledge by attending seminars and training classes. You must also develop close knit relationships with specialized vendors and introduce vendors to key members of our sales force and professional services group. May also assist current sales representatives on current customer calls and help develop written and in-person customer proposals.
Job Requirements or equivalent: BS/BA degree Minimum of 5-7 years of consultative sales Minimum 5 years experience in data center, virtualization and server sales Experienced in strategic account planning and consultative sales Demonstrated ability to interact with all senior level management Expert verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level formal and informal presentation skills Successful completion of a recognized formal sales training program(s) preferred)
