Job Description

  • .NET Developer
  • Atlanta, GA

Responsibilities:

 


  • Contribute to development team responsible for the implementation web-based applications using the .Net Framework and SQL Server technologies (relational database and Business Intelligence).

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology team members to define & analyze requirements for enhancements and new product development in a fast growing software-as-a-service business.

  • Prepare technical designs, write code, perform debugging and unit testing.

  • Responsible for the timely development and delivery of high-quality software in an Agile Scrum based environment while ensuring that the team adheres to architecture strategy, design patterns, and best practices.

  • Work closely with fellow development staff and product management to document standards and procedures for the definition of reference architectures (“architecture roadmap”).



 

Experience:

 


  • 5+ years of applicable work experience as a Microsoft technologies developer, specifically with VB.NET and /or C# in web-based application environment (.NET 3.0+ framework)

  • Experience building high-performance web user interfaces with HTML, CSS, AJAX, Javascript, custom controls, jQuery, and MVC.

  • Experience with 3rd party controls Telerik, Aspose, and Dundas Charting a plus

  • Practical, hands-on experience with pattern-driven and Object Oriented software analysis, design, and implementation

  • 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and tuning application SQL, stored procedures, and objects.

  • Experience leveraging open source development and software configuration management (SCM) tools (such as Subversion, NUnit, CruiseControl.Net, NCover, MSBuild, NAnt, FxCop) a plus.



 

 

 

 

Job Requirements:





  • Bachelor’s degree in computer-science (or related technical field).

  • Microsoft certifications, particularly a MCTS Certification in a.Net Framework or SQL Track a plus.

  • Permanent US work authorization is required.

  • Extremely strong collaboration and communication skills a must

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail.
