DUTIES / SCOPE OF WORK:
The Senior Voice Engineer will be involved in providing technical skills to all levels of Cisco Call Manager, Unity, IPT, Voicemail, projects; this includes but is not limited to: requirements gathering, architecture/design, implementation, testing, troubleshooting, support, knowledge transfer, and training.

* Work closely with the Project Manager and other implementation team members to deliver a superior solution. * Maintain knowledge base and offer innovative ideas that will enhance our offerings. * Gather pertinent data and inputs from the customer site. * Research possible solutions from partners and lead or assist in the Level of Effort needed to successfully implement the solution * Lead or assist in the design and present Cisco practical and cost effective UC solutions that meet customer needs, utilizing their existing network and ensuring maximum reliability. * Support recommendations and answer pertinent questions. * Follow up and maintain contact with the customer*s technical staff. * Manage transition from design to implementation. * Develop training materials that provide the technical background necessary to support the solutions. * Implement architected solution, including the supporting network (LAN/WAN)

REQUIREMENTS:
Seeking at least 5-6 years experience preferably with CCIE VOICE Full certifications. Extensive knowledge with "Hands-on" experience designing, upgrading, installing configuring, and troubleshooting Cisco Unified Communications and networks. This includes the Communications Manager, and Unity Platforms; and H.323 & MGCP Voice Gateways w/ SRST. Also includes design, configuration, and troubleshooting for routers and switches - QoS, VLAN, SPT, HSRP, and routing protocols. Additional knowledge and experience with MeetingPlace, and IPCC/UCCX desired. * Documenting the installation and configuration process and defining test process/plan on various projects. * Rely on his/her technical background coupled with common sense in solving problems and issues. * Possess great analytical and critical thinking ability. * Minimum of 5 years experience in the implementation of voice and network solutions is desired. * Strong knowledge of Cisco networking (routing & switching). * Winning *can do* attitude and strong work ethic are a must. * Ability to clearly and effectively set goals and attain them. * Help with customization and the ability to lead and mentor others
