Software Engineer - Pittsburgh, PA

Job Description:
As a member of the software development team, the incumbent must have extensive knowledge and/or experience working with systems level programming, distributed systems or fault tolerant systems. Prior storage experience preferred. Must also have knowledge of C/C++, multithreading and kernel level development (Linux or the FreeBSD kernel.) Additional responsibilities will include the full life cycle of product development from design, implementation through testing. The position works closely with others on the product development team, and each area of responsibility is often a collaboration process, so candidates need excellent communication skills.

Experience/Qualifications Preferred:
* Minimum of 2 years industry experience developing storage-related software products.
* Extensive knowledge of C/C++, kernel level development, multi-threading / parallel programming, distributed systems, and fault-tolerance techniques.
* Knowledge of network file systems protocols (NFS, CIFS, AFS) preferred.
* Knowledge of SAN & NAS storage paradigms a plus.
* Ability to work in teams.
* B.S. in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent experience * M.S. preferred.

Minimum Requirements:
* B.S. in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
* Minimum 2 years experience.
