Job Description

We now have an opportunity on the Technical Support Team for a Field Technical Support/Applications Engineer. The position can be located on either the East Coast (West Chester, PA) or on the West Coast (Las Vegas, NV). This position will provide technical support to end-users and to OEM's (Original Equipment Manufacturer) on MEI Products. The incumbent will also provide on-site support for field trials on new MEI Products and customer VAT's (Value Added Trials).

Roles & Responsibilities
- Work with MEI Engineering to provide root cause analysis for reported problems. Negotiate and deliver appropriate solutions for our OEM customers. Where appropriate, work with the OEM to determine ownership and prioritization of the task
Work with sales to proactively call on operators to respond to technical questions or issues. Document these proactive calls to Technical Support Manager
- Provide onsite support of Field Trials; install units and collecting data as needed
- Interact with distributors and service centers to ensure they have all the required up to date tools and training required to repair MEI products
- Schedule and perform customer training
- Work with marketing to ensure 100% product preparation for trade shows and customer events

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Associate's degree in Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of the following experience required:
- Technical software knowledge
- Communications skills (writing, presentation)
- Good Interpersonal Skills
- Problem Solving
- Work experience in software design and engineering
