RiverPoint Grouo is looking for a Top Notch, Innovative Thinking Systems Engineer for client's 9 month contract - likely to extend. We are looking for a resource with very strong Perl, Linux, C++ Development skills. We need a resource with very good protocol and interface experience. The right resource will have a strong development background with embedded systems.

Required Skills:
Over 7 years of experience in C++, Linux, Perl, HTML and XML (required)
Over 7 years of software development and testing work experience
Strong Knowledge of embedded systems
Experience in Testing/Quality Assuranace (testing tools, i.e., Mercury Test Director, etc.)
Someone that understands process
Experience developing XWindows applications using GTK+/Qt and associated development toolkits
Someone that can think out of the box is absolutely necessary - we need someone with senior skills that can wprk independently and not afraid of trying different approaches.
