VP, Java Developer for Equity Swaps

Our client, a Major Global Financial Services Firm is seeking a VP, Java Developer for Equity Swaps. Andiamo Partners represents numerous financial firms as a Tier I recruiting vendor.

Position Description:

The Equity Swaps technology team require a hands on developer to add experience to the team as the front to back processing is renovated. The role covers development of core swaps processes for accounting and financing and will include analysis, planning, development and execution.

Skills Required:

* Experience in leading medium to large scale development projects is required. *Leading' in this context implies providing architectural direction plus hands-on coding, *not*project management from an administrative perspective, although those skills are a plus. Some degree of financial industry experience is also required.
* Core technical experience with Java, Sybase (or C++).
* Linux and Unix environment

Skills Desired:

* Experience with working on Equity Swaps or Equity Derivative products.
