I General Job Description

Directly reports to the Engineering Manager, the main function is to support production in the qualification and sustenance of products by performing activities for the development and maintenance of manufacturing methods and processes to ensure high productivity and quality.

II Detailed Job Description
1. Leads production in building new products requiring the application of SMT, MIC, microsoldering, mechanical assy, or top level assembly processes.
2. Creates, reviews, and updates BOMs, assembly work instructions and specifications, process control plans, and routings.
3. Generates and reviews ECOs related to form, fit, function and assembly of the products.
4. Conducts DFM study on new product.
5. Conducts DOE and FMEA to optimize manufacturing process.
6. Plans for and introduces process control procedures/systems, and analyzes statistical data to form basis for improvement action plans.
7. Conducts audits of production line to identify practices and tools non-conforming with process procedures and specifications, which will need correction.
8. Conducts line balancing to achieve improved throughput .
9. Reviews yields and paretos. Comes up with effective corrective actions to improve the yields.
10. Develops assembly procedures and work instruction as needed to enhance processes and improve productivity and quality.
11. Perform continuous process improvement by introducing new materials, processes, tools, and jigs / fixtures that will increase yield or reduce labor time.
12. Recommends procurement and use of tools and equipment necessary for building products.
13. Determines required labor time of manufactured products and regularly validates the standard.
14. Provide assembly quotations when required.
15. Provides trainings to other employees as needed.
16. Corresponds with the customer regarding technical issues and concerns related to the assembly processes of the products.
17. Works with the customer representative/s during their visit.

1. For daily tactical activities, refer to other process engineers.
2. For matters requiring immediate/higher decision, refer to Senior engineer or Engineering manager.

VI Minimum Qualification for the Job
1. Incumbent must have a BS degree in EE, CoE, Applied Physics/Physics major or ME

2. Knowledgeable in the function and operation of RF and microwave circuits and devices.
3. Proficient in statistical tools for manufacturing
4. Possesses leadership and coordination skills.
5. Flexible and organized. Able to plan and organize activities accordingly and can handle varied tasks simultaneously.
6. Possesses the ability decide on matters concerning main function
7. Possesses good verbal and written communication skills.
