Documentum Support Engineer:

Responsibilities/Duties
 Proven ability to effectively communicate with customer via phone, face-to-face, or email to resolve requests within time allotted in the documented Service Level Agreements.
 Effectively interpret and resolve issues reported through email, and by phone. Timely completion and communication of resolution to customers. Clear documentation of steps used to resolve issues.
 Ability to create clear and concise process documentation that presents information simply and accurately.
 Collaborate with members of the project team to ensure understanding of established processes, provide input for process improvements, ensure accurate problem escalation, and effectively support the mission critical applications.
 Experience supporting Documentum 5.x and 6.x.
 In-depth understanding of Documentum concepts and architecture including lifecycles, workflow, security, administration.
In-depth experience in Documentum Administrator (creating methods and jobs like replication)
 Experience using DQL/API and DQL
 Demonstrated analytical/problem solving skills to independently troubleshoot and resolve Level 1 and Level 2 issues in Documentum related applications
 Conceptual understanding of a distributed content environment
 Experience with Apache and Apache Tomcat, Weblogic, JBOSS
 Documentum Transformation Service * 3rd party Software Adlib
 FAST * supports Documentum full text indexing
 High Availability infrastructure * following instructions to fail over a server when an outage is required
 Deploy application related items, i.e., BOFs, JMS
 Capably of creating and modifying UNIX shell scripts
 Overall UNIX skill set
