Experience Required:
* Minimum 5 years of applicable experience in Embedded Systems Product design
* 32 - Bit Micro Controller Experience needed.
* Working knowledge of C/C++
* Familiarity with designing around embedded RTOS
* Familiarity with hardware design concepts, ability to troubleshoot mixed hardware/software issues
* Familiarity with Communication Protocols (Ethernet, USB, RS-485)
* Freescale Coldfire Processor familiarity a plus
* Familiarity with the uCOS Real Time Kernel
* Familiarity with hardware design concepts, ability to troubleshoot mixed hardware/software issues

Principal Accountabilities:
* Design/architect software - responsible for designing and implementation of robust software solutions
* Develop and execute software test plans
* Bug hunt and fix * responsible to report and fix bugs identified within the software
* Document * responsible for documenting changes made to software
* Good communications skills including the ability to quickly and affectively communicate issues and concerns.
* Experience working in larger development teams (>5 developers)

Academic Degree(s) required:
4 Year Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (Computer Science okay with practical embedded software development experience)
