Responsibilities:

* Lead next-generation SoC architecture for AU 1300 product line through study, analysis on industry trends, and customer interaction with strong emphasis on low-power consumption, performance, and video hardware acceleration

* Drive major new architectural departure for future generation multimedia SoCs

* Close cooperative work with development group to generate new innovative solutions to gain competitive edge in the market

* Hands-on/Lead in SoC implementation along side Design team.


Qualifications:

* Preferred Education: BSEE/BSCS minimum
* Minimum 10+ years experience of embedded CPU SoC architecture design and programming, hardware/software co-design and co-verification
* CPU Performance Modeling expertise; understanding of hardware/software partitioning impact
* Experience in low power consumption embedded processor architecture is a "must have"
* In-depth knowledge and experience with MIPS, SPARC, PowerPC or ARM architectures
* Some background in SoC/CPU Test an advantage
* Record of commercially successful products shipping in the market
* Strong interest and knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and solutions in embedded CPU SoCs.
