Currently, we have an opening in the following area:
Business Systems Analyst with EPIC Systems Experience
Location: Pasadena, CA
Duration: 5-6 Months
Background and Experience
Knowledge of bad debt as managed within Epic is a plus. Knowledge of standard systems interface technologies and protocols, including HL7 and batch interfaces while not required is a plus. Candidate must be able to function independently with minimal oversight and direction. They may also be responsible for instructing and guiding lower level professionals. This is not a project manager position but is a working, technical Application Coordinator position. Must be able to work onsite 4 full days per week within the Monday through Friday timeframe, 40+ hours a week
Top Tech Skills: Hands on experience with Epic Hospital Billing and/or Epic Resolute Billing., experience with configuring charge router is preferred, but not required.
Knowledge of revenue cycle.
Must be certified in Epic Resolute Hospital or Professional Billing.
Top Soft Skills: Great people skills, a "go-getter" that doesn't wait for work but goes after it. Day to Day activities: Meet clients, gather requirements, turn requirements into technical data within the application, configuring, test and testing support, and go-live support.
Other Skills

- Strong written and oral communication skills (ability to listen, speak, present, and write)
- Ability to adapt and work effectively in a variety of configurations — independently, as a member of a team, and in a matrixed reporting environment
- Ability to work with all levels of management and build working relationship with others outside of the team
- Proven client management experience, including ability to organize and disseminate information efficiently and set expectations
- Ability to multi-task and work with cross-functional teams in a flexible, fast- paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
