Position Summary
The Tech Manager will be the liaison to internal groups and Client IT and external vendors as it relates to technical requirements within the digital arena. Must have a collaborative work ethic and support the Agencies pertaining to training initiatives and understanding digital technical requirements. Must have the ability to clearly and succinctly communicate ideas/decisions/reasoning to a non-technical audience. A self-driven desire to keep abreast of the latest sites/gadgets/trends/innovations is also a must.

Principal Responsibilities
" Serve as subject matter expert and technical consultant for all Digital tactics and initiatives*
*Digital tactics/initiatives include, but are not limited to: websites, portals, flash microsites, flash apps, widgets, tablets
" Consult with internal teams in evaluating state of digital environment, taking into account customer needs; make recommendations for tools and resources necessary to fulfill these requirements
" Identify and provide technical training to both internal and external groups.
" Identify technology trends and evolving social behavior that may support or impede the success of the business
" Author technical specifications for Digital campaigns
" Evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms for developing and delivering on digital tactics/ provides technical audits for projects
" Communicate the company's technology strategy to management
" Share knowledge, mentor and educate Agency teams with regard to technological vision, opportunities and challenges, including hosting and/or collaborating in Agency training initiatives
" Contribute to the standardization of technologies and evolution of best practices by collaborating with peers outside the company
" Assist in identifying and leveraging the appropriate interactive and technology opportunities for Clients
" Forward thinking and proficient in new technological advancements
" Supports Project Management on:
o Vendor RFP's and vendor selection
o QA planning/bug lists
o Website migration- development server set up/transfer of files
o Staging Servers- set up/transfer of files
" Partners with Production team on vendor/purchasing process
" Able to manage and understand how to get projects through the Agency
" Liaison between Agency IT, Client IT, and external vendors
" Serve in a support role whenever needed by Client/internal teams
" Collaborate with the appropriate departments to assess and recommend technologies that support internal Agency organizational and promotional needs (e.g. internal Agency website, etc.)
" Work closely with Manager on new initiatives and overall process and operations
" Ensure timely completion of individual assigned jobs/staying late as necessary
" Enter time daily in PRISM /other related duties as required
