Galileo is seeking a software developer with 2+ years experience developing database driven applications to join our team.

Responsibilities:
** Design, code, debug and test backend programs/database applications using C/C++ and sql to implement financial and accounting systems
** Maintain and enhance existing backend programs
** Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
** Broad based programming skills
** Thorough knowledge of general computer science
** Experience with C programming, RDBMS, SQL, Linux and Oracle
** *nix experience including VI editor and shell scripting (ksh) desired
** Strong understanding of relational database concepts
** Excellent technical aptitude and ability to solve problems
** Experience / familiarity with accounting and financial system controls
** Ability to work in a quick-paced, evolving environment. Positive attitude and exceptional work ethic
** Ability to collaborate with others within the organization
** Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree or experience
