Principal Duties and Responsibilities
We are looking for specific technical skills including programming languages (VB.Net or C#), platforms (.NET Framework - ASP.NET, Web Services, WSE) servers (SQL Server 2005 or 2008, Analysis Services, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS), BizTalk Server) and methodologies (familiarity with test-driven development, Agile approaches, MSF).
Additional beneficial skills for this position are K2.NET, InfoPath, DHTML, Relational Data Modeling, NUnit based testing, UML and component design, and Silverlight.
Experience
- Candidate will work in a highly decentralized and customer facing environment
- 5-10+ years of hands-on technical and design experience with Microsoft Enterprise technologies
- 5+ years customer consulting experience
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience
- A consultative approach to develop, present and explain the value of proposed infrastructure solutions to customers
- Act as a consultant to field technicians, customers and in pre-sales support. This person must be able to build and maintain a network of technical resources within DELL and across functionalities to allow for higher productivity and increased business for Dell Services
- Functions in a technical lead capacity and may manage projects or staff
- Hired candidate will perform a wide variety of technical and administrative duties in overall enterprise solution assessment, design, validation, development, delivery and sales.
