Position: Business Development Manager

Reports To: Managing Partner

Description of Role:

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for cultivating new customer opportunities via marketing and prospecting efforts in order to help to grow SRG*s
customer and revenue base. This includes establishing both near- and longer- term plans in conjunction with the management team in order to achieve the company*s goals while
creating a strong value based brand within SRG*s client base and focus industry markets.

Responsibilities:
- Develops new business by prospecting, executing marketing campaigns, and following up on business leads from internal and external sources
- Makes multiple personal contacts, marketing and telephone calls, appointments, and proposals to attract new business and increase existing billable hours for staffing business
- Analyzes existing accounts, competition, and market share
- Attends civic or professional organization meetings to develop leads and facilitate SRG branding
- Ensure the completeness of contractor agreements, client Master Agreements and SOW*s, consultant weekly status reports, and consultant time entry.
- Updates and maintains client (existing and prospects) and consultant database in SRG sanctioned sales and administration tools. Uses those tools in order to effectively establish
detailed client and prospect organizational profiles for use in ongoing sales and marketing efforts.
- Reviews goals regularly to improve personal development, improve sales performance and increase market share of their territory
- Develops account-marketing strategies/performs other duties as assigned

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of outside direct sales experience and 3 years of I.T. sales experience
- MUST have the ability to understand, at a high level, various technology tools, terms, and platforms
- Proven track record of account base development and quota attainment
- MUST be highly-motivated and able to work independently
- MUST be a proven *hunter* and be focused on attaining new business
- MUST be organized and able to manage goals and objectives efficiently
- MUST have excellent presentation, oral, and written communication skills
- Established client contacts and relationships a plus, although not required
- Relationships and involvement in the local networking community is preferred
