Broadcom Corporation currently has an opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Technical Marketing Engineer to utilize their networking and computer engineering skills to promote Broadcom's Ethernet controller technologies in the gigabit and ten-gigabit Ethernet market. In this role you will be required to :

- Design, setup, and execute test configurations which highlight Broadcom's Ethernet controller technologies
- Write technical white papers and articles to promote Broadcom's Ethernet controller technologies
- Conceive, develop, and assemble tradeshow and customer demonstrations
- Work with OEMs to analyze end-customer usage models
- Consult with high profile end-customers to coordinate technical issues, integrate Broadcom Ethernet technology into the customer's data center, and identify future technology trends
- Perform competitive analysis of Ethernet products

Broadcom offers a fast paced, exciting work environment, and as such you should enjoy a variety of work tasks and be a quick learner. You will work directly with many of Broadcom's most important customers and must have strong presentation and communication skills. While much of the work will be performed at Broadcom offices, a significant amount of travel to trade events and customer sites will be required.

Job Requirements :

Education: BS, MS, or post-graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering).

- 3 to 5+ years industry experience with 3 years in a technical role
- Demonstrated understanding of L2/L3/L4/L5 Ethernet Networking (TCP/IP, TOE, iSCSI, FCoE) and core networking protocols (ARP, UDP, DHCP, ICMP, etc.)
- Strong oral and written communication skills (English fluency is a must)
- Strong presentation and team work skills
- Familiarity with PC architecture (including PCI and PCI Express)
