Quintum*s Engineering facility in Schaumburg, IL has several immediate openings for talented, ambitious innovative software engineers to help create Quintum*sNET*s line of next generation triple play (VoiceVideoData) products. Multiple positions exist for individuals from mid to senior levels.
The QuintumNET product line is primarily based on C and C++ in an embedded Linux environment. Responsibilities will include functional specification, design, coding, debugging, and unit testing of system-level features.
Qualifications:
*Four year degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
*Embedded Software Design in a team environment
*Intimate knowledge of C andor C++
*Practical experience with software development methodologies
*Practical implementation experience with Telecom Protocols: SIP, H.323, ISDN or CAS (FXS/FXO) are the most relevant.
*Self-starter with a demonstrated ability for self-directed learning
*Excellent problem solving, verbal and written communication skills
*4+ years experience developing complex commercial communications products
Desirable Skills:
*Linux, Multithreading Applications
*Linux kernel device drivers
*Linux hardware and software-based debugging techniques
*Protocols (SIP, H.323, Frame Relay, ATM, GSM, WiMax, LTE)
*In Circuit Emulators Logic Analyzer Debugging Experience
