Roles and Responsibilities * Work safely and ensure client*s HSE Policy and Operating Management System (OMS) is followed by persons involved with drilling controls operation and maintenance. * Work with client and client*s vendors to ensure installation and operability of drilling controls equipment in compliance with client, industry, and legislative requirements. * Interface with drilling contractors and vendors on drilling controls maintenance, testing, and modification requirements. * Interface with other client internal groups involved in drilling controls requirements (Rig Audit Team, Client-Owned Rig Personnel or Teams). * Liaison with internal client and external drilling controls experts.

Additional Requirements: * At least 2 years of technical drilling controls experience and aptitude; preferably in: rig control systems, military control systems, marine control systems; or industrial control systems. * Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering; Computer Science, or related engineering discipline. Will also consider an additional 3 years of relevant industry experience. * Performed engineering or field service for offshore drilling contractors or drilling controls systems vendors. * Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, logic drawings, cause and effect documentation. * Demonstrated Understanding Certification Societies/Enforcement- MODU, ABS, DNV, MMS, ISM, IMO, USCG, NTL * Ability to deploy anywhere in the world on a rotational or extended period.
