PROJECT ENGINEER
DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a Project Engineer to prepare and manage turnkey installations through Customer Acceptance of point to point telecommunication systems utilizing Microwave Radios. Perform site inspections and installation Engineering. Create technical documents for Customers and installation crews (services statements of work, installation specifications, implementation/test plans). Obtain/provide services quotes. Order OEM equipment and installation materials. Coordinate installations with Customer/Field Personnel and provide them in house technical support. Interface with various Company Departments. Accountable for meeting installation budgets.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
BS/BA or equivalent experience required/advance degree in Telecommunications Engineering. Project experience in Telecommunications industry required. Field installation experience in Telecommunications industry preferred. Must have excellent communication, writing, strong multi-tasking and interpersonal relationship skills. Must possess good general business skills and the ability to present financial, technical and project data. Must have experience working with vendors, subcontractors and customers. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
