Client involved in High Voltage Substation design build projects is looking for a 2 Project Managers/Project Engineers with 7-15+ years of related experience. You need a BSEE or MSEE degree. A PE license would be a plus. Experience working for a consulting engineering firm would also be a plus. You need experience working on the physical layout designs or protection & controls/relay designs for high voltage substation projects. Client involved in High Voltage Substation design build projects is looking for a 2 Project Managers/Project Engineers with 7-15+ years of related experience. You need a BSEE or MSEE degree. A PE license would be a plus. Experience working for a consulting engineering firm would also be a plus. You need experience working on the physical layout designs or protection & controls/relay designs for high voltage substation projects. Responsibilities
- Procurement and project management of 115-500kV open air and gas-insulated substation construction
- Estimating, procurement, and management of equipment and negotiation of labor contracts
- Oversight of EPC projects
- Work with client to develop scope of work and conceptual design for modifications to existing substations
- Develop and maintain effective vendor and client relationships
- Provide leadership, guidance and instruction to less experienced staff members
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in electrical engineering from accredited program
- Experience with high voltage substation design or project management
- 7+ years of experience with physical layout designs or protection & controls/relay designs for high voltage substation projects
- A PE license would be a plus
- Experience working for a consulting engineering firm would be a plus
- Ability to bid and manage equipment and labor contracts
