Position title: Federal Sales Engineer
Location: DC/VA/MD area
Job Description:
In this critical role, you will work closely throughout the sales process with an Account Executive and cover the federal sector. Pre-sales activities include product presentation/demonstration of technical solutions to IT organizations. The qualified candidate will be responsible for maintaining technical relationships with current prospects and customers and help to drive revenue as part of the sales organization.
Required experience and skills:
5+ years experience in a pre-sales role as a Sales Engineer/Systems Engineer
Top secret security clearance status
Experience with software solutions in one of these areas: systems management, security, compliance, application performance management, network management, server management, log management, service desk, virtualization management, IT infrastructure/middleware
Strong technical presentation skills to IT organizations
Ability to travel throughout the geographic territory as needed
