Lead Validation Manufacturing Engineer

The Lead Validation Manufacturing Engineer will support activiites involved with the existing product line a well as introducing new products. This individual will engineer, design, document process validation aproaches both internally and at suppliers. He/she will assess all new processes/equipment for validation/verification requirements. They will work with R&D to ensure product: manufactureability, testability and maintainability.

Qualifications:
The successful candidates are required to have a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering. A minimum of 10 years experience in engineering discipline or advanced education to achieve level of skill is required. A masters degree in either of the above is preferred with a minimum of 7 years experience.
Responsible for designing and executing validation strategies and approaches including complex process characterization studies to determine independent and codependent variables and their effects on process outputs is required.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials necessary to meet validation responsibilities is required.
Able to detect and resolve conflicts, recognize and overcome technical and operational hurdles.
Able to recognize and communicate the impact of validation and other technical aspects on the organization, including customers, distributors, and other internal departments (operations, support, marketing, finance, etc) is essential.
Able to communicate technical and operational data effectively, supporting efficient review, assessment and approval processes. Presentation and communication skills sufficient to effectively lead meeting with multiple individuals from multiple departments to achieve concrete conclusions in efficient manner
Handle detailed development of validation protocols and acceptance criteria.
Expected to provide guidance to engineers and technicians on technical matters and project strategy.
This position may be filled as a Sr. Engineer for the right candidate.
Bachelor Science or Bachelor Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
