Optical Systems Engineering Company, with multiple operating divisions located throughout the US, which manufactures and sells a broad range of high performance electro-mechanical and electro-optical components and sub-assemblies to the aerospace, defense, electronics capital equipment, graphic arts and medical-imaging markets is seeking a Resolvers Engineer/Transformer Design Engineer to join their team in San Diego, CA! This growing technology supports the demands of optical applications such a thermal weapons systems, precise medical imagers, nighttime surveillance cameras (infrared cameras).

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
In the role of Resolvers Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of Resolvers and Synchros and will direct and coordinate manufacturing/building of prototype products. You will also provide engineering support to manufacturing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Technical field. Physics background highly desired.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years experience in electro-magnetic design of Resolvers and Synchros.
