Currently, the Amacai team, a sister company of TARGUSinfo, is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer in our Orem, Utah office. This person will be charged with assessing the quality of our products and identifying/fixing systemic problems through a close relationship with engineering and product development. This individual will be the final arbiter of the readiness of our products to be released each month and must sign off on each product release. He/She will be expected to become familiar with all of our products and develop methods and software routines to assess the quality and suitability of each product to be released to our customers. The chosen candidate must be able to run and understand statistical analysis of large datasets to assure consistency and predictability of products from month to month. This individual will also participate in new product development initiatives from a data quality assurance perspective.

Key Responsibilities
- Vetting of potential new data sources through statistical analysis
- Establish and run data testing procedures and incorporate them into all aspects of our product development; as such candidates should have the following: Database experience - MySQL, Oracle, SQL experience, & C++ experience
- Ability to critically evaluate processes and envision and execute improvement to practices
- Must exercise excellent organizational skills and have an ability to juggle multiple threads simultaneously
- Ability to critically engage the internal team at all levels; ideal candidates should have the ability to foster collaboration, and the capability of acting independently as needed to enforce data quality standards
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Proven software development expertise
- Past experience in the area of data testing a plus but not required
- Ability to work closely with an engineering team
