The Marketing Database Manager is responsible for owning the data integrity, data flow and Salesforce.com syncing of the organizations marketing database. This includes thorough understanding of the lead dispensation process between Silverpop*s own Engage B2B marketing database and Salesforce.com to provide an optimal lead flow process as well as ongoing change management and data cleanliness strategy.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Owner of the company*s marketing database (inclusive of client and prospect data), this includes subject matter expert (SME) level understanding of captured data, data lead flow process, data syncing criteria to Salesforce.com, and ongoing data integrity practices.

* Collaborate closely with the Salesforce.com administrator, integration team and IT department to both enhance and ensure consistency in the lead management and data flow processes.

* Responsible for the creation, dissemination, and education of the company*s data integrity/cleanliness practices to company stakeholders.

* Responsible for defining and creating data segmentation documentation that will provide stakeholders within the organization a clear map for data segmentation and list management.

* Responsible for collaborating with Sales and colleagues in Marketing to ensure ongoing optimal data flow process that ties directly to desired sales and marketing lead flow processes.

* Develop and manage execution of marketing plans to drive existing leads to convert to revenues for each Silverpop product line.

* Responsible for the execution of marketing lead nurturing/lead management campaigns, including data segmentation and list pulls.

* Establish success metrics by which to measure performance of marketing lead management/nurturing campaigns.

* Responsible for generating reporting that clearly measures and analyzes progression of leads through the lead management process, inclusive of revenue and ROI reports related to marketing lead management/lead nurturing campaigns.

* Own the lead management process. This includes evaluating and implementing process changes and/or new technologies which will increase the conversion efficiency of leads through the sales pipeline.

* Manage the planning, coordination and implementation of the Engage B2B product for use by Silverpop*s marketing department.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

* Minimum of five (5) years of direct and online marketing experience, with specific expertise in lead generation strategy, lead management and execution in the software-as-a-service space.

* Previous experience in B2B lead cultivation is required; experience using Silverpop*s Engage B2B lead management system preferred.

* Strong understanding of Salesforce.com CRM capabilities desired.

* Strong understanding of online marketing and an excellent track record of driving lead generation.

* Ability to manage multiple projects independently and simultaneously and meet deadlines.

* Ability to think strategically as well as implement tactical campaigns.

* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make recommendations to the business stakeholders in a structured, professional manner.

* High level of personal energy to drive projects to completion and sustain productivity.

* Strategic thinker, with the ability to contribute to the business* overall strategic plan.

* Strong communication skills and ability to form collaborative relationships with sales, partners, customers, marketing colleagues and product management.
